Introducing Malin + Goetz to Copperfield

Malin + Goetz are one of the newest brands to arrive at Copperfield. Combining trusted natural ingredients with advanced tech to create uncomplicated luxury skincare and fragrances.

Created by Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz, in New York in 2004, the brand has since grown, creating skincare that works for everyone. Malin’s idea for the brand came from his own skin conditions such as eczema, seborrhoea, and rosacea, he wanted to create a local, family-owned brand with simple but luxurious products.

Goetz’s role in the brand is his keen eye for design from his experience as a US Marketing Director. His designs are reflected in the store’s modern interpretation of traditional apothecary as well as the chemist’s label.

Both wanted to simplify skincare, reducing the number of bottles and products they had on their shelf. Skincare that works for everyone.

The brand promotes a simple skincare routine which consists of cleansing and moisturising. Cleansers are formulated with amino acids to hydrate and purify the skin without drying it out. The moisturisers utilise botanically derived fatty acids to intensely hydrate without leaving residue.

By focusing on what truly matters, Malin + Goetz never adds unnecessary ingredients, ensuring that their products are safe and effective. Many products begin with a single natural ingredient as a source of inspiration, which is then combined with innovative technologies for optimal performance.

Unnecessary dyes and perfumes are removed from their products. Products overloaded with perfumes can irritate your skin, they shouldn’t be an extension of your perfume. Malin + Goetz are for people with sensitive skin, products for people to achieve healthy skin.

The brand is recognised for its skincare; however, they have also expanded into fragrances and candles to create a lifestyle opportunity.
